Ashwin wanted to go to auroville as it was his dream place. It was Ashwin’s luck that his school field trip destination was Auroville:

1. Viewpoint Matrimandir:

The viewpoint Matrimandir is the first place Ashwin went to, it was like a long journey by getting tired and frustrated but getting a good reward which covers up all of it. The Matrimandir is located about a kilometer from the visitor’s center. The bus dropped Ashwin at the visitor’s center and Ashwin began his journey to the viewpoint Matrimandir. The hot temperature really made it difficult for Ashwin to walk for about a kilometer but the best part was when Ashwin reached the “Viewpoint Matrimandir” the view was really fabulous, Ashwin could see empty roads connecting to the Matrimandir and many other beautiful things, the most beautiful thing was obviously the Matrimandir itself.

1. Well Paper:

The second place Ashwin went to was called “Well Paper”. This place was a different place compared to the others, in this place, Ashwin could see that the workers use recycled paper and make crafts especially like a basket and sell it for money. When we went there we learned how to make a paper basket, and believe or not it was really one of the most difficult, tiring and consuming things Ashwin has ever done. Making the basket may seem easy it’s really not. Ashwin learned how people hard work so much and how difficult it is. In the end, Ashwin could take his handmade baskets home as souvenirs.

1. Sadanah Forests:

This place is basically just a forest. The twist in this place is that people live here that too in a really compatible way. They don’t even waste human compost. Visiting this place for Ashwin was a really good experience, the workers even showed a different technique of planting which is really good for the environment in many ways. Ashwin ate a completely vegan breakfast which was also a good experience. Overall Ashwin loved its uniqueness.

1. Pondicherry Mall:

The experience in the “Pondicherry Mall” was really fun. The reason Ashwin visited this place was to have some fun, collect souvenirs and return back to Kodai happily with new stuff. The mall was a really good way for bonding between his class. The learning from the mall was how to talk to strangers to ask for the way to a particular place and help his friends or anyone in trouble. Overall, Ashwin loved the trip to the mall and the trip to Auroville.
